Smartphones or tablets display mobile versions of the sites. You might prefer to load Desktop or Full sites especially on your android tablet like Nexus 7 or Samsung Tab etc. Mobile version of the sites are mostly stripped down to load faster. It is easy to access desktop sites on your Android Chrome Browser or Firefox mobile browser.
Most of the mobile browsers give option to view desktop site in the browser settings. But this is effective for that particular instance of the android app. If you close browser app, you will need to select or check “Desktop View” again.
How to view desktop/full site on android phone or tablet like Nexus 7 with android chrome browser
Open android chrome browser. Go to Menu > Settings > check “Desktop View”. This should be set for the android app session. Android apps are not closed automatically unless you close them explicitly.
If you want to access desktop or non mobile sites always, you need to modify UAString (User Agent String) for the browser.
1.Open android chrome browser. Type “about:debug” (without quotes) and tap Go button
2. Go to Menu > Settings > Debug > UA String > Select “Desktop”. Your setting should be saved now. If you want to change it back, go to UA String again, select Android option. You can also view the web sites as iPhone, iPad.
These screenshot are taken on Samsung Galaxy S2. But the method should work for any android phone or tablet including Nexus 7, Galaxy Tab 2 etc.

If you use Firefox mobile browser on your android phone or tablet, You can change UAString in it too. You can also request desktop site under firefox settings.
