Samsung has announced its 12-megapixel touch-screen phone Pixon12 M8910 with this phone Samsung builds a strong portfolio in camera phone segment. Recently Sony Ericsson has announced its 12-megapixel camera phone Samsung gives a tough competition to Sony Ericsson with this new phone. Pixon12 features 3.1-inch AMOLED screen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS device built in it. It is said that this phone performs faster and enables the user to take new photo just within 2 seconds after the first one.
Pixon12 is equipped with 28mm wide-angle lens that lets you cover more area to take the picture and with the inbuilt Xenon and LED flashes you can take shots in dark with comfortable clarity. With the auto focus feature you can get sharper images and this phone allows you to focus on a point by touching the area on the screen. The camera automatically focuses on the select point such that you get crystal clear image with great quality and detail. The built-in face detection feature automatically detects faces in the frame and focus on the face near to you such that you get images with all smiling faces without missing a smile.

The 3.1-inch AMOLED display that has 10000:1 contrast ratio enables you to view pictures and videos in great clarity without missing any detail. With the built in GPS device it supports Geo-Tagging such that you can tag the images with the geo coordinates as a reference and share them with your family and friends. It supports auto sharing of the images with the social networks like Flicker, Face Book, etc., instantly with the help of the built in Wi-Fi and 3G supports.
The camera is capable of recording video in 720 x 480 pixel at 30fps this allows you to record movements in great clarity and all most every frame of the movement comes with great detail. Taking still shots become faster with this camera after taking a photo you need not wait for long to save the image the phone stores the 12 megapixel image quickly and you can take another photo just within 2 seconds. It is said that camera phones has captured large share of the digital camera market. With ever increasing and advances in camera phone segment someday camera mobile phones may replace digital cameras. Samsung is planning to release Pixon 12 in June in the European market.
