Recover Deleted Files with NTFS Undelete

Now a day we encounter a common problem of files or folders getting deleted from our system accidentally or without our knowledge. In this situation now we can recover back our deleted files from the hard disk even, if the file is removed permanently from Recycle Bin using free and open source NTFS Undelete

We may wonder how a file is recovered even if it is removed completely from the system; the reason is when a file gets deleted from the Hard disk the space occupied by the file is marked as free but the content still remains intact in the disk. You may ask a question now how long it stays in the disk right? It will stay until we try to save any other file, Launch or close any application. So it is sensible not to do any file saving or Launch, close any application during that period.

If deleted files were located on the system disk (usually disk “C :”), or if you have only one logical disk in the system, you should not install any software into the system since it will most likely overwrite your deleted file. In that case you need to download ISO image with NTFS Undelete software from another computer to burn the image to CD or DVD and Run the NTFS Undelete from the CD drive.

If you want to recover the deleted file from other disk partition like “D:” then you need to download NTFS Undelete Windows Installer software and install in “C:” drive and recover the lost file, by doing this we can avoid file getting corrupted or unrecoverable. A directory by name “Lost Files and Folders” will be created after installation to store the lost files.

To recover the deleted file just enter the file details in ‘search’ tab like file name, date modified, file size so on. Once you have identified the file, just mark it. Under Recover marked files tab, choose the destination folder where you want the file to be recovered, then click ‘Recover’ button to start recovering the deleted file. Now you can find your deleted file(s) back.
