Kindle Fire HD is little 7″ amazing tablet from Amazon. With Amazon Prime & Instant Videos, you can’t go wrong with it. You may want to play videos or movies you copied or transferred from your computer. It is hard to find a video player that works for your needs in the Amazon App Store. Amazon product reviews are not good for most of the video player apps.

I was able to find an app that was made specifically for Kindle Fire HD. MX Player is on the of popular video players in the Google Play Store. But It does not work properly on Kindle Fire HD or Kindle Fire 2. I wish such a good video player exists in Amazon App Store.

How to play mkv/xvid/3gp/webm video files on Kindel Fire HD/2
1. Dowload & Install CineXPlayer from Amazon App Store. It costs about $2.

2. You can play any Divx Xvid or mkv video or movies files now. You don’t need to convert any of your files to MP4 to play on Kindle Fire. HD playback is supported. You can organize your videos by creating folders or playlists.

3. If you have movie subtitle files like .srt or .smi, It plays subtitles too. It has Sceenager mode that lets you watch & surf at the same time. This is similar to popup video player. You need to be in portrait mode to use it.

4. It has DropBox Integration.. If you have videos in DropBox, you can easily copy them to Kindle Fire HD.
