How to ping old blog posts in wordpress

2 Sep 2011The default wordpress ping function pings every time you make updates to posts, even old posts. Ping services may ban your blog If you ping often without new content. UP Smart Update Pinger plugin allows you to ping new posts. It does not send pings when you edit already published posts.

I found there are 2 types of services for testing webpages in different browsers. One type of service is taking automated screenshots. This is normally useful if you just want to see your site in different browsers.Other type of service is for advanced purposes like debugging your site etc.

24 Aug 2011I recently changed domain name of one of my sites. I changed ip address for that domain in my godaddy account. It takes sometime about 24 to 48 hours for dns propagation. That means your website might not be available around the world during that time. You might want to wait during that time before redirecting your old domain to new domain.
