Nokia has recently launched Nokia 6208 candy bar with stylus pen input in Indian market. This handset features 2.4-inch display with maximum resolution of up to 320 x 240 and is capable of displaying 16.7 million colors. This handset supports Tri-band eGSM 900/1800/1900 and automatically switches between the GSM bands. Features 3.2-megapixel camera with two LED Flash lights, capable of taking still images with up to 8x digital zoom and records videos with up to 4x digital zoom.
The new Nokia 6208 handset comes with a 2.4-inch LCD display with support for pen input. The screen has a maximum resolution of up to 320 x 240 pixels and displays up to 16.7 million colors. The pen input enables an easy messaging experience. This handset supports tri-band GSM networks and data network of CSD, HSCSD, GPRS and EDGE with maximum speeds up to 296/2 kbps and it can be used as data modem also supports 3GPP. 6208 sports Bluetooth v2.0 with EDR protocol that allows data transfer up to 3 times faster than any other conventional protocols.

There are two types of input devices in this handset one the alphanumeric keypad and the other is the Pen input. A stylus pen is supplied with the handset using that we can enter the text by pointing the pen on to the characters displayed on the screen this makes messaging experience easy and comfortable. There are volume control keys and a dedicated camera key on the side of the phone. It comes with Micro-USB connector and USB v2.0 features a 3.5 mm Nokia AV connector that is also used as the headphone jack and 2 mm charging pin. 6208 is powered by a Li-Ion battery that gives 3.5 hours of talk time and 300 hours standby time. The battery lasts for up to 4.5 hours of continues video playback and 11 hours of audio playback.
This phone features all the basic call features and in messaging features it shares the same inbox for both the SMS and MMS messages and supports MMS size of up to 300kb, also sports instant messaging and MS messenger. The 6208 supports E-mail protocols like POP3 and IMAP4, supports push mail, email attachments and Mobile VPN. The built in browser supports HTML and XHTML web pages with WAP 2.0 Protocol and TCP/IP support. It features the new Opera Mini Web browser and Nokia Mobile search that enables easy search on the web. The Opera Mini web browser automatically resizes or splits the web page to fit in the screen.

The new Nokia 6208 classic features an integrated 3.2 megapixel camera with built-in dual LED flashlights. The image format of the images captured with the camera is JPEG by default and we can capture images with up to 8 x digital zoom and features auto white balance and auto exposure. By using the dedicated camera key, we can launch camera and take pictures with the push of the button. Using the main camera, we can capture motion pictures with up to 15 frames per second in VGA format or 30 fps in CIF format. The Video player supports .mp4, .3gp formats and live .3gpp Streaming. Videos can be used to set as the video ring tones also set taking ring tones.

Nokia 6208 classic sports audio player that is capable of playing audio files in .mp3, .AAC, .eAAC and many other formats and supports live audio streaming. It has an inbuilt FM radio, which enables us to listen to the local radio stations. This model features a 3.5 mm headphone jack that can also be used as Nokia AV connector enables us to connect our favorite headphones and enjoy the music. It also features Customizable profile settings, .MP3 and polyphonic ringtones, Ring Tone composer and themes and wallpapers. This phone weighs about 120 grams and features very stylish design with the stylus pen mounted on the back of the phone.
