26 Nov 2009If you have upgraded to the Firefox 3.6, you might feel that your tabbed based searching has suddenly started to feel much smoother. Well, at least a tad bit. It certainly will feel that tabbed browsing has become a bit intuitive all of a sudden.

This has happened because Firefox 3.6 has done one simple tweak, opening the tab you want form a page right beside the parent tab instead of opening it at the far right corner.
This might seem trivial. But it actually does help in searching, researching and enhancing the browsing experience considerably when you are “flipping” through a huge bunch of tabs, using the “Ctrl+ tab” from your keyboard.
The only feature that Firefox could have added though is the IE like highlighting of tabs generated form the same origin.
