That is what an Israel based company, Else (Previously Emblaze) promises in the smartphone domain. Yes, it promises to take on the Palms, the Android legion and even the iconic iPhone. That’s a pretty tall task. So the question is how can Else do that? Well, there is something else about Else in two aspects in particular.

1. The display: Yeah, the fan display does stump one and all. The sleek, blue and white radiant image + fan display is a stunner and takes away the cake. Quite easily. 2. The OS: Well, it will be Linux. Which means, the users will have the ability to run apps without touching the phone’s core functionality. That aside, it has all the basic smartphone goodies that you more or less come to expect these days – GPS, 5 MPs Camera, 3.5 inch capacitative toucshcreen, and a few other niceties, like HD TV quality video display, smart search and its own media store.
