You might be taking people opinion on several issues to plan things better. Polling is one of the best methods to take opinions from people and know what majority of them like. In offices generally, you might ask your co-works what to order for evening snakes or about anything. With Outlook 2007 you can complete this task very easily with minimal effort. If you are using Outlook 2007 then you can send polls to the members in your contact list instantly.
1) Open Outlook 2007 and compose a new mail, click the Options tab and click on the Use Voting Buttons.

2) You can choose to have default answer options or set your custom answer options from the drop down menu. For custom answers, type the answers in the space provided separates each answer with a semicolon.

3) Your custom answer options will be inserted in the mail. Now you are ready to send the mail to receive votes from your contacts.
4) When the recipients view your email they can respond to your poll by clicking on the click here to vote link.
5) After they have made a choice a pop up message appears for conformation and also give the user a chance to edit the response before sending.

6) When any of the recipients respond to your poll Outlook alerts you by indicating a flag symbol.
7) You can view the total polls that you have received by opening your original message in the sent messages filed and click on the Tracking Button. Outlook will tabulate the results for you to make your decision based on the polls received.
Note: Voting from Outlook only works if you and your recipients use Outlook 2007. Mails sent to other applications or web based emails will not show the voting links in it.
