Guide to root your android phone:

1) Download droid-super_user.zip file from here.

2) Rename the downloaded zip file to “update.zip”

3) Connect your phone to the computer via USB. On the phone select USB connected when prompted.

4) Now the SD of the phone will show up as removable storage device on the computer.

5) Copy and paste the update.zip file to the root directory on your SD card.

6) Disconnect your phone from the computer and turn the device off.

7) Now Press and hold the “X” and power button until you see triangle and “!” on the screen.

8 ) Press and hold Vol+ and Camera button until you see a menu.

9) Using the D-pad on the phone, select the update option and update it with update.zip file.

10) This may take several minutes to complete. Once you are done reboot the device and you are ready to go.

Now you can download and use a root application, like theme on your android phone.

Guide to install theme on android phone:

1) Themes generally come in zip format. Download a theme file you want to apply on your phone and rename it to “update.zip”.

2) Connect your phone to computer and put update.zip file to the root of your SD card.

3) Now turn off your phone. Then press and hold Home and Power buttons at the same time until you see android image.

4) Release the buttons and wait for the recovery screen to appear.

5) Perform a backup of your phone by scrolling to Android vX.X (X.X is your Android version number) and select it (you can also do this by pressing ALT+B).

6) Wait until you see “backup complete” on the screen.

7) Now scroll and select update.zip (theme file) to apply the theme to your phone.

8 ) Wait until you see “install from SDcard complete” on the screen.

9) Now scroll and select Reboot Now to set your phone on new theme.

It may take few minutes for your phone to reboot with the new theme.
