First, why do you need image merging? Well, you never know. May be you just want to let your creative juices run riot. Or just feel the urge to merge images. Whatsoever. Who knows?

With Photoshop: Anyway, if you wish to merge images through Photoshop, you will need to use the Photoshop’s “Move” tool to drag and drop several images on to the desired space. Once this is done, different layers will be opened for all of them individually. You just need to place all the layers to the place you want and then reduce their opacity while making sure that all the images are at the top of the basic image.

Without Photoshop: The free download, Image Merger.EXE. does that for you. In fact this software is a much easier way of merging images than Photoshop. You just need to install the software, select two images, select different criteria like upper and lower range of superimpose intensity, merge style and merge size, transparency etc and simply click next to merge. You can then merge other images with the merged image and so on.
