The Firefox browser sometimes becomes a little slow and choppy especially if you are working on  Windows. The generally fast and light-weight Firefox sometimes behaves a bit awkwardly. This might happen at times when you are trying to scroll down over a particular web page when suddenly scrolling through that page becomes a bit sloppy, slow and choppy.

The fix to this awkward problem was figured out by the smart folks at theonahacker figured it out, using just a notepad:

1. Go to your Firefox 3 profile\chrome folder
2. Find the “userContent-example.css”.file. Copy this and modify it to “userContent.css” and open it on Notepad.
3. Paste the following code at the end of this file:

4. Save the file.

Now restart the Firefox and have smooth sailing, ahem, smooth scrolling experience.
