While searching the web for a particular image to suit your blog post (or for some other purpose), you often chance upon a weird déjà-vu you could have jolly well done without. You find the exactly duplicate of the image you created using much time and a lot of effort on Photoshop or something sle. Well, that is the bane of the web’s open social nature. However, now you have this cool reverse image search engine, TinEye, that does figure out the clones of your image in the web. It is different from finding similar images. Once you put an image in this search engine’s query box, it takes a digital fingerprint of your image and returns the places which have used your image, either modified versions, or exact copies. All you need to do is go to their website, upload your images or paste an image URL to find the clones out there…
Now that’s a bit cool no doubt. Sounds like you can now deal with image copyright infringement in a smarter way anyhow.
