Linux/Ubuntu is a free and open source operating system. There are very few applications available for this kind of operating system. Nautilus Image converter is one among the few and it is the best image resizing tool to use on Ubuntu systems. It is very easy to use application with clean user interface and useful features. Using this application you can resize multiple images at once and also add append to files instantly.
First download Nautilus Image converter binary file and install it on your system. Then restart the application to start resizing images quickly. Now you can see Resize images option in the main context menu of all images when right clicked on them. You can resize, rotate and archive of images with a click.

Select multiple images to make similar changes to all the images at once. You may choose to make changes to the current selection or make a copy of selection to apply changes to copied images. Append option allows you to insert append after theĀ originalĀ file name. Use this option to distinguish between edited and non edited images.

You can select from the predefined sizes or define custom size to resize images according to your choice. Click on the resize button when you are done to start the resizing process. You can see the process bar while the images are been resized by Nautilus.
