If you are owning, say a Droid, and scourging the web to find some cool and free ringtones, you might feel like what I have been feeling for quite a while. It is quite a frustrating ordeal, I mean finding the proverbial needle in the haystack is a walk in the park compared to that.
But still, there has got to be some way around, right? Yep. There is.
1. Go to the Android Market and download Google’s free ringtone app, Ringdroid. Seems that the Google-ers also figured out the scarcity about the availability of free ringtones for its hardware legion.
Ringdroid is a simple app that lets you customize files from your phone or the ones you download from the Amazon MP3 market into MP3, WAV, and ARM file. Customization is simple. Just open a file and move the slider on to select the start and end time. Or select manually by entering the start and end times.

And yes, if you want to really create and customize, record your own staff as the App does provide that option through its “Record New” feature.
