Icons lend that personalized look and feel to your computer. So what about making them absolutely personalized-i.e. creating them with your own images? And the good news is that you don’t need to know any high-end graphics designing to do something like that to get your personalized icons. You just need to have a system that has Windows 98/ME/2000/NT/XP/2003/Vista/7, 64 MB RAM, Pentium-333 MHz, 4 MB Hard Disk and grab the SIB icon editor.
Sounds easy? It is.
All you have to do is to install this editor and import files from your system. After that, there are a number of options to go on editing like hue, saturation, lightness, opacity, sharpness etc. Slightly advanced options like the transparency tool, resampling filter and the option to test the created image are also available.

The icon images can be exported to ICO, ICPR, BMP, JPEG and PNG files. The SIB icon editor only lets you create and edit Windows Vista icons. However, it also lets you convert Mac icons to the Windows format. Cool huh?
