microsoft-smart-artIt’s pretty cool and simple to create a Timeline for your Powerpoint presentation. Just open your Powerpoint on your computer. , click “Insert” and go to “Smart Art”. Under “Smart Art”, choose any of the graphics available in its gallery under various categories like “Process”, “Cycle”, “Pyramid” etc. Select your “Timeline”, insert your text and save it. That’s it.

You can further stylize your TimeLine with colors and through the different stylizing options available under format like various shape, fill and text edit options. You can tinker with your main text as well as background colors and styles with these.

And of course you can delete it anytime if you feel that away and add a different layout from the same “Samrt Art” tab. This also works on MS Office Excel 2007, MS Office Outlook 2007, and Microsoft Office Word 2007 as well.
