How to clean your computer keyboard

Computer Keyboards can get dirty very easily as Dust and other debris invariably find their way into computer keyboards when they are not properly taken care. As much we use computer keyboard each day sooner or later matter accumulates under the keys.

Dirt and dust coat the keys and build up underneath, sometimes the accumulated mixture of spilled drinks and crumbs can stop keys from working altogether. The keys may look like they are stained and they may feel sticky, we also often see hair stuff between the keys.

Keeping your keyboard clean is an easy process that you should perform regularly. Stores sell compressed air and cleaning products to help you clean your keyboard. Many people have their own way of cleaning their keyboards, but most people usually just flip it upside down and shake it.

Germs live on our hands and fingers. When we type, many of them jump on to the keyboard. When someone else types on our keyboard, those germs transfer to their fingers. Silicone keyboards clean safely and easily to eliminate antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria.

The first thing to do is immediately unplug the keyboard from the back of the computer and turn the keyboard over so that its keys are down. This will allow the dust particles to drain out, be careful not to tap or bang it on your computer desk. We don’t need special tools to clean our computer’s keyboard. In fact, we can keep your keyboard clean with things we have in our house.

Spray a generous amount of household cleaning solution on a paper towel or use a glass cleaner. Wipe down the computer keys, to really get between the keys, we can use a cotton swab that is been dipped in cleaning solution. Let our keyboard dry out completely before plugging it up again, so it the best to do this at the end of the day.

We can make use of compressed air to clean between the computer keyboard keys. If your computer keyboard has over-keys, pop them off and clean with light soapy water. Allow to completely dry and return them to the keyboard.
