How often your web browser crash because of one page, when you tried to run multiple applications in one browser? You will end up losing your work because of one page. Fluid has a solution for this in the form of Site Specific Browsers (SSBs). Fluid is a very small application that lets you create SSBs on fly which you can use as any other Mac OS X applications independently.

Just download this application and install it on your machine. When you launch Fluid you will see a small window with couple of fields. Fill in the URL of the web site you want to create SSB of name it, specify a location and also (optional) load a photo to use as Icon. You can create as many SSBs as you want with this application.

You can place SSBs in status bar next to other menu items like clock, etc. You can use Fluid to make MenuExtra SSBs of most visited sites like your home page, YouTube, Flickr, Email, etc to access them quickly.

In Site Specific Browsing when you have clicked on a URL that directs out of the specified URL of SSB it will open in default browser. You can optionally select tabbed browsing like in Safari to browse in the same window. With built in user script there is no need to install any user scripts like Grease monkey again giving you complete free to browse freely.

Also block annoying Flash ads if you wish on the SSBs that you have created. As each SSB is completely independent from one another you can have tailor made setting for each. Software updates are done automatically keeping your browser experience at optimal level always.
