1. On your android device, Go to Apps > Google Settings App > Android Device Manager > Check “Allow remote lock and factory reset”.

2. You will be asked to Activate Device Administrator for Android Device Manager. Touch Activate.

3. On your Computer or Mobile device, Go to Google’s Android Device Manager website and login with your Google username & password. Use the same Google account you use on your android device.

4. Click on “Lock” and enter new password to change or reset password on your android device. If you had set pattern, pin or password, it will be replaced with this new password.
