How to airplay to TV via WD TV Live Hub from android Nexus 7/Kindle Fire HD/Galaxy S2 S3

If you have an android phone or android tablet like Nexus 7, Kindle Fire HD, you may want to watch your tablet videos, photos on your big screen TV. If you have Apple TV, you can airplay to Apple TV. But If you have network media player like WD TV Live or WD TV Live Hub, how do you airplay from your android device to TV?

If you have WD TV Live or Hub media player, you can airplay to any TV even if it is a old TV. WD TV Live player is DLNA certified player.

How to airplay from Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HD or android phone via WD TV Live
1. Download & Install iMedia Share Lite (Google Play Store, Amazon App Store. It is a free app.

2. Go to My Photos or My Videos and select the photo or video you want to play. You will see available DLNA devices including your WDTV Live or WDTV Live Hub media player. Just select it to watch it on your TV.

iMediaShare may not find your DLNA TV sometimes. You need to enable media renderer option in your TV settings. It should work for any android phone include Samsung Galaxy S2, S3, Droid Razr etc, any android tablet including Nexus 7, Samsung Tab etc

You can buy paid android app iMediaShare to airplay live streaming HD channels, YouTube links, other videos. But You can access YouTube in WD TV Live. you don’t need it.
